PRIVACY STATEMENT
MYTUTORPOD is a service that enables parents or guardians (“Parents”) to enroll their children (“Learners”) in online small-group courses, as well as registered teachers (“Teachers”) to develop, market, and deliver such lessons (the “Services”). This Privacy Statement explains how MYTUTORPOD collects and utilizes personal information from registered Parents, Teachers, and Learners of the MYTUTORPOD Services, as well as visitors to our public website ( www.mytutorpod.com ) and mobile app (collectively, “Sites”).We will only use your personal information in accordance with this policy unless otherwise required by applicable law. We take steps to ensure that the personal information that we collect about you is adequate, relevant, not excessive, and used for limited purposes.Privacy laws in Canada generally define “personal information” as any information about an identifiable individual, which includes information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person. INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Personal information, that we can reasonably use to identify you directly or indirectly, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, username or other similar identifier, and any other identifier we may use to contact you (“personal information“).

For example, we may aggregate personal information to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific feature.
Sensitive Data, to assist with learning, parents may voluntarily disclose sensitive information such as health or disability information in forms or letters addressed to teachers. Parents can also enroll their children in specific classes for disabled youngsters. Teachers and Learners are not permitted to engage in conversations that may elicit or result in the disclosure of sensitive information.We may ask a Parent to provide us a copy of age-identifying documents, such as a Learner’s birth certificate, passport, or driver’s license, if we think a child is above 18, for the protection of other Learners. This document might reveal sensitive information including full dates of birth, birthplaces, and government ID numbers. We do not keep track of anything except the month and year of birth.We may also acquire sensitive criminal history information about Teachers when we receive background reports.
Technical information, including your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, or information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Sites, and usage details.
Required Personal Data, Teachers are also required to let us access Personal Data relating to background checks. Teachers are also required to have their cameras on while teaching a live class. Learners are required, subject to authorized exceptions, to have their video enabled at least at the start of class to verify their identity to protect the safety of other Learners. You may decline to provide certain Personal Data.
Non-personal details about your Website interactions, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), clickstream to, through and from our website (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, or any phone number used to call our customer service number.
HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
We use different methods to collect your information, including through:
Direct interactions with you when you provide it to us, for example, by filling in forms or corresponding with us by phone, email, or otherwise.
User contributions. You may also provide information for us to publish or display on public Sites areas or transmit to other Sites users or third parties.
Automated technologies or interactions, as you navigate through our Sites. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.

Third Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
As we use video conferencing platforms including Zoom for conducting online classes and these are third-party apps/software and may use cookies (alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies) to collect information about you. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content. In addition to helping advertisers reach the right people for their products and services, behavioral advertising helps support our website so that you can enjoy free content.
We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they are used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

We combine data we collect from different sources to achieve these purposes and to give you a more seamless, consistent, and personalized experience.
MYTUTORPOD allows teachers to examine recordings of their courses and utilize them to enhance their curriculum and lessons. They may also share the recordings with parents and learners. MYTUTORPOD may also use class recordings to offer feedback to teachers, as well as for customer service and compliance.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
We may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide as described in this

To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
In accordance with applicable law, to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of MYTUTORPOD’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by MYTUTORPOD about our customers and users is among the assets transferred.
Teachers may obtain some Personal Data of Parents and their Learners, including classes their Learner has taken, if they sign up. We do provide instructions and limitations on how they can use personal data. We represent our teachers as limited agents. Please keep in mind that in certain circumstances, a “Teacher” is actually an organization, group, or team of teachers (a “Teacher Organization”). In such instances, access to class recordings may be granted to the whole Teacher Organization, rather than to a single individual Teacher.
To advertisers and advertising networks that require the information to select and serve relevant advertisements to you and others. We do not disclose data about identifiable individuals to our advertisers, but we may provide them with aggregate information about our users (for example, we may inform them that 400 women between 30 and 45 have clicked on their advertisement on a specific day). We may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers target a specific audience (for example, men in a specific location). We may make use of the personal information we have collected from you to enable us to display our advertisers’ advertisement to that target audience.
To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business (such as analytics and search engine providers that assist us with Sites improvement and optimization) and who are contractually obligated to keep personal information confidential, use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them, and to process the personal information with the same standards set out in this policy.

You should not encourage your Learners or other Learners to reveal any Personal Data about Learners or their families.
User Profile: As a user of our Services, you will have a user profile that will be publicly available to all users of the Services (the “User Profile”). You are not required to include any Personal Data on your User Profile. But you will have the option to include a variety of types of Personal Data in your User Profile, which may include your first name, last name, biographical information, geographical location, and avatar or personal photograph.Any information published in your User Profile becomes available to the public. After publishing, we have no control over how such information is used or its further dissemination. We urge you to think carefully about what, if any, Personal Data you include in your User Profile.
Online Classrooms and Pages: If you are Teachers leading our online classes, you may publicly display and share your video and photographic image, name and/or username and certain other information, such as your profile, demographic data, content and files, and general location data (such as the city or state).
Public Forums: Our Services provide Teachers and Parents the opportunity to share information on a variety of topics with other MYTUTORPOD Users through public forums (the “Public Forums”). Use of the Public Forums is entirely voluntary. But please be aware that any information you include in the Public Forums will become available to all MYTUTORPOD Users without restriction.We do not systematically monitor the content of information that is published in the Public Forums. Any information published in Public Forums becomes available to the public.
Messages: Learners can message Teachers, Parents can message each other, and Parents and Teachers can message each other using the Service. Parents have access to messages between their Learners and Teachers.After publishing, posting, or messaging, we have no control over how such information is used or its further dissemination. We urge you to think carefully about what, if any, Personal Data you share with others on our Service.CHOICES ABOUT HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATIONWe strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:
Tracking Technologies: You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. While we do not currently support Do Not Track signals, we treat the data of everyone who comes to our site in accordance with this Privacy Statement, whatever their Do Not Track setting.
DATA SECURITY
The security of your personal information is very important to us. We use physical, electronic, and administrative measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. We store all information you provide to us behind firewalls on our secure servers.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access of Class/Calls you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Sites. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Sites.
DATA RETENTION
Except as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or regulation, we will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. Do California residents have specific Privacy Right?
